The multidisciplinary nature of the NUCLEANOVA project requires the participation of a Large-Scale Integrator (LSI).
For the first NUCLEANOVA_EC prototype, technologies from long endurance pressurized water reactors (pwr), heat transfer, robotics, space communication systems, and manufacturing will be merged.
NUCLEANOVA is in negotiations with various industries to organize a consortium of industrial know-how and private capital to start a campaign leading to the design certification of the first reactor prototype.
This certification is anticipated to be completed in a short period as it takes advantage of the large inventory of experience in pressurized water reactors and their proven safety on large and small power plants.
